These Terms of Use govern your use of this website and the services offered by Kinesiology with Andrea (Andrea Bennett, practitioner, based in Buxton, Derbyshire). By accessing this website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Nature of Services

Kinesiology with Andrea offers Health Kinesiology, Touch for Health, and Allergy & Sensitivity Testing as complementary therapies. These therapies are intended to support general health and wellbeing and are not a substitute for conventional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice.

Nothing communicated during a session, on this website, or in any correspondence should be interpreted as medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to alter, reduce, or discontinue any prescribed medication or medical treatment. You are encouraged to consult your GP or a qualified medical professional for any health concerns.

Kinesiology with Andrea is a member of the Kinesiology Federation and holds professional indemnity insurance through Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers.

2. Booking Conditions

Making a Booking

Bookings may be made online via this website or by contacting Andrea directly by phone or email. A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Andrea. Andrea reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at her discretion.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a booking, including details of any medical conditions, medications, or other factors that may be relevant to your session. Providing false or incomplete information may affect the quality of care you receive and could result in your booking being cancelled.

Age

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must provide written consent before the session begins. The parent or guardian must remain present throughout the session.

Health Conditions

If you are pregnant, have a serious or acute medical condition, or are undergoing active medical treatment, please inform Andrea before booking. Andrea may request a letter of support from your GP before proceeding with a session.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice (a no-show), will be charged the full session fee. This policy exists to respect Andrea's time and to allow other clients the opportunity to book the slot.

Cancellation by Andrea

In the unlikely event that Andrea needs to cancel your appointment, she will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative appointment at a mutually convenient time. No cancellation fee will be charged to you in these circumstances.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late for your appointment, the session may be shortened accordingly and the full fee will still apply. Please contact Andrea if you are running late so she can advise whether the session can still go ahead.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking or at the end of the session, as agreed. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Andrea reserves the right to amend her fees at any time. Any change in fees will not affect bookings already confirmed at the previous rate.

5. Liability

Limitation of Liability

Kinesiology with Andrea provides complementary therapy services in good faith and with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Andrea accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from:

• Your failure to disclose relevant medical information before or during a session.
• Your decision to alter, reduce, or discontinue prescribed medication or medical treatment.
• Any pre-existing medical condition that is aggravated by, or unrelated to, the therapy provided.
• Reliance on information published on this website as a substitute for professional medical advice.
• Any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of this website or the services.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your own health decisions. Attending a session does not guarantee a specific outcome. Results vary between individuals and no practitioner can guarantee that Kinesiology will resolve any particular condition or symptom.

6. Confidentiality & Data

All personal and health information shared during a session is treated in strict confidence and handled in accordance with Andrea's Privacy Policy. Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

Session notes are kept securely and retained for a minimum of seven years in accordance with professional practice guidelines.

7. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate bookings. You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with other users' access to it.
